The Chaek Ieum Service is an integrated library card service that allows you to borrow books from participating libraries across the country with a single membership library card.
If you wish to use the services in one or more public libraries, register as a member of the Chaek Ieum Service and then you can use the public libraries participating in the program without having to register as a member in the other libraries.
Anyone who is a member of the Chaek Ieum can loan books from participating libraries, and users can check all the materials they have loaned and returned.

Chaek Ieum members can join as a member at the website and then view the books that you have loaned.
You can view the list of participating libraries across the country on the website.

Joining as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Library Chaek Ieum Service
- Qualification : Seoul citizen, employee of a company in Seoul, student enrolled at a school in Seoul
- After registering as a member on the website, you can visit the library and authenticate yourself using mobile phone authentication (in your name), I-PIN, etc., and then sign up as a Chaek Ieum member.
Members of Other Public Library Chaek Ieum Service
- Members of public libraries participating in the program can use the Seoul Metropolitan Library services after a bring-in procedure.

※ The above service is limited to those who are a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Library website. However, e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines, and book requests are available only to the members who have received a library card from the Seoul Metropolitan Library.
