Turning Local Bookstores into Cultural Hubs! Seoul Supports 60 ‘Seoul-Style Bookstores’ with Up to 4 Million Won

- Seoul City is recruiting 60 bookstores to participate in the <2025 Seoul-Style Bookstore Program>… Applications are open until June 15 (Sun).

- The number of participating bookstores has increased by 10 compared to the previous year, with each selected bookstore receiving 2 million won to support cultural program operations.

- An additional 10 bookstores will be selected as 'Moving Seoul-Style Bookstores,' receiving an extra 2 million won to operate outdoor programs.

- The city has received recognition for fostering collaboration between libraries, bookstores, and the publishing industry, having won the ‘National Library Chairman’s Award’ in April.

- Each bookstore will run cultural programs from July to November, with the city hoping this collaborative model will continue to grow and develop.
