Exhibition Introduction

The "Seoul Archival Services", located on 3F of the Seoul Metropolitan Library, is a representative cultural space for Seoul citizens and a space for exhibition that conveys the value of archival culture by covering the history of Seoul’s transformation and the stories of its citizens.

The Seoul Archival Services was newly renovated in November 2022 and is providing exhibition services in the form of a digital platform. It presents Seoul, which has established itself as a world-class city after 70 years of change, through various records.

Here, the citizens can share the joys and sorrows of their daily lives, such as the Han River, transportation, major attractions, songs and culture of Seoul, and the memories of the citizens.

Main Exhibition	In this exhibition, major municipal policies that brought changes to citizens' daily lives and the special and colorful aspects of Seoul are archived and displayed.
	1. Archives of the Citizens	Send a photo that you took in Seoul through the QR code displayed on the touch monitor, and you can see it displayed on a large wall.
	2. Archives of the City Affairs	You can explore photos, videos, and documents of major policies and events by era in Seoul.
	3. Archives of the Panorama of Seoul	You can see the past and present of Seoul in contrast with large-scale photographs, as well as documents showing the process of change.
	4. Archives of the Keywords of Seoul	You can search the various materials that consist and fill the city of Seoul with keywords.
	5. Archives of the History of Seoul	Touch a part of Seoul's current landscape displayed on the wall, you can see the past of that part.
Special Exhibitions	In special exhibitions, a topic is selected, and the related archives of Seoul are displayed.
	Intro	Introducing the concept, viewing method, and exhibition theme of the special exhibition hall. You can also view the information about Seoul's 25 autonomous districts.
	Information Hall	In the information hall, you can choose the exhibition topic and view it. When you select one of the topics presented on the touch screen, all screens in the information hall automatically displays the related content.
	Theater	The theater was built in a separate space where all lights are blocked. You can select your own video content through the touch monitor and view it on a large projector.
