Chaekbada Service
- Chaekeum (책바다) is a word combining 'book' meaning chaek (책) and 'sea' meaning bada (바다).
- The Chaekbada Service is an interlibrary borrow service for joint use of materials by public libraries across the country that allows users to borrow and use materials through application at libraries holding the materials that the other does not.

Seoul Metropolitan Library Chaekbada Service
- After registering as a member on the Chaekbada website, it needs to be approved by the person in charge.
- Qualifications for Chaekbada membership
- Member of the Seoul Metropolitan Library with a library card
- Among those who have separately applied for membership at the Chaekbada Service
- Members who have been issued the Seoul Metropolitan Library card at least 6 months ago
- Members who have no history of overdue of physical materials in the past month
- Members who have borrowed physical materials 3 times or more in the past 6 months
Using the Chaekbada Service

- Request Inter-Library Borrow
- Pay the Fees
- Acquire the Material
- Select the Seoul Metropolitan Library as the library you belong to, and then request for the desire item.
