Article 7-2 of the Publication Culture Industry Promotion Act (support for revitalization of local bookshops, etc.)
Article 6 of the Seoul City Ordinance on the Promotion of Local Bookshops (Support for local bookshops)
Article 8 of the Seoul City Ordinance on the Promotion of Local Publication (Support for local publication, etc.)

Operation of <2023 Seoul Bookshops>

We support the operation of various cultural programs and online and offline promotion for local bookshops so that they may serve as a local cultural space which is a unique role that only the local bookshops can play.
Period : July ~ October 2023
Through an open contest, 60 local bookshops are selected, cultural programs (cultural events, book clubs, independent publishers) are operated, and the production and distribution of souvenirs and online promotional contents for each bookshop are supported.

Operation of the <2023 Moving Bookshops>

We operate unique cultural programs and curated book exhibitions planned by the local bookshops in connection with the Outdoor Library in Seoul Plaza in order to promote the local bookshops to the citizens.

We aim to spread the value of local bookshops and promote their revitalization through promotional support for local bookshops, which are hubs of local book culture.
