Seoul Outdoor Library to Read with the World… Opening on April 23

- On April 23 (Thursday), Gwanghwamun Book Square and Book-Reading Clear Stream will open… Seoul Plaza will start operations from May 1 (Friday).

- Global expansion includes the “Seoul Outdoor Library Tour” for foreigners and a “Travel Library” with participation from 14 countries.

- A rich lineup of events, from lectures by famous authors like Bernard Werber to citizen-participation book curation.

- Newly revamped reading spaces, collective immersive reading experiences called “Book-Mung” and other special reading experiences greatly enhanced.

- Pop-ups and district-level outdoor libraries… The city expects to spread a reading lifestyle in everyday life.
