- 122 libraries, 8 more than last year, will participate in extending hours until 10 PM

- Strengthening the role of libraries as "open cultural spaces for citizens" in response to frequent extreme weather events like cold waves and heatwaves… Loan and return services will also be available until 10 PM

- A total of 10.6 billion KRW will be invested… 378 staff will be deployed for night operations, with plans to offer over 170 night-time cultural programs

- Encouraging citizens to use libraries instead of relying on home heating and cooling, aiming for energy conservation and addressing the climate crisis
