Seoul City Launches Korea’s First Public Reading Group, 'HIPDOK BOOK CLUB', in April
- Making reading more fun: the public book club 'HIPDOK BOOK CLUB' launches... Free registration for the first 10,000 people starts on April 1 (Tue).
- Moving away from the serious and solemn image of traditional libraries and offline-centered reading groups, leading a freer and more enjoyable reading culture.
- A 6-tier grading system based on reading progress, 'shared transcription,' and other activity achievements… Members can exchange points for reading-related items.
- Special programs such as 'Nomad Reading,' where members visit famous spots around the country to read, and 'Reading Mob,' where people gather to read and write together.
- All members will receive a subscription to ‘PressReader,’ giving access to over 7,000 newspapers and magazines worldwide, along with priority participation in outdoor library programs in Seoul.
