Seoul Outdoor Library Transforms into a ‘Global Outdoor Library,’ Reopens for the Second Half of the Year on September 5 (Fri)
- The second-half operations will run from September 5 (Fri) to November 2 (Sun), with hours changing to 11 AM to 6 PM starting in late October.
- The second half will see a significant increase in international exchanges, with cooperation from embassies of five countries: Ireland, Peru, China, Italy, and India.
- To cater to international visitors, over 2,000 foreign-language books will be added, offering an opportunity to experience Korean culture through K-literature translations.
- Three natural soundtracks have been developed to enhance the outdoor library branding, allowing visitors to immerse in their reading while enjoying the sounds of nature in the city.
- Ahead of the reopening, a surprise 'Summer Night Library' event will be held from August 22 (Fri) to 24 (Sun), featuring stargazing sessions and film screenings.
