2025 Seoul Outdoor Library Concludes Successfully, with 8 Million Visitors Since Its Opening in 2022

- With a cumulative 8 million visitors, the Seoul Outdoor Library has established itself as Korea’s leading public reading platform, with 2.83 million participants this year alone.

- This year, the program expanded throughout Seoul with ‘District Outdoor Libraries’ and ‘Popup Outdoor Libraries,’ and has been benchmarked by other local governments across the country.

- The country’s first public reading club, ‘Hipdok Club,’ has attracted 10,000 members, with over 240,000 reading activities including book recommendations and transcription challenges.

- The outdoor library’s reading challenge, the ‘World’s Largest Reading Relay,’ saw 3,532 citizens participating, culminating in a Guinness World Record achievement.
