Seoul City Launches 'Libraries Are Hot' Campaign at 195 Libraries

- From December 2025 to February 2026, 195 public libraries in Seoul will participate in the ‘Libraries Are Hot’ campaign.

- The campaign aims to reduce carbon emissions in the era of climate crisis, lower home heating costs, and promote a reading culture, achieving three goals in one.

- The initiative will strengthen the role of public libraries as ‘safe shelters’ that can remain open during disaster situations, providing a stable refuge for citizens.

- A total of 741 winter reading and cultural programs will be offered, and an event will be held where visitors can receive a ‘Book Bag’ by sharing their visit experiences.
