Introduction

• The "Reading Together on the Same Subject" is a Seoul-style model of the community public reading movement "One Book One City," which began in 1998 in the Seattle Public Library. It aims to improve the capacity of the reading community by allowing local communities to have a common cultural experience by reading the same book, sharing opinions, and discussing one topic.
• Seoul City has begun this business since 2013. Based on the "Topic of the Year" selected by the Seoul Metropolitan Library, each district selects its own book and specific topics in consideration of the status of the autonomous district and the requirements of its local residents, and conducts various library programs.
